As Human Resources Director, Bill Mogan is responsible for all HR and Leadership Development strategies to include recruiting, hiring, onboarding, benefits design and administration, 401K/ESOP administration, employee relations and retention, regulatory compliance, performance management, and HR information systems. In his tenure at Thompson, Bill has implemented a new Wellness Program, created a new performance review process, and implemented an annual talent review process.
Bill joined Thompson Engineering in 2012 after serving as Director of Human Resources and Talent Development for Harper Industries, a holding company with interests in commercial construction, ready-mix concrete, structural steel fabrication, and limestone quarry operations. Bill also worked for Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores and Gambro Healthcare.
Bill has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Defiance College in Ohio and a Masters degree in Human Relations Management from Cumberland University in Tennessee. He is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and is certified to administer and interpret the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, DiSC profile, Voices®,and Leadership Effective Analysis 360 assessments.
