what our employees say

Evan Bedwell

Thompson has provided me with the support needed in my recent step towards licensure. Whether it was time off to study, or advice from more experienced engineers, Thompson has a great support system available which certainly helped me pass my exam.

Suzanne Sweetser

Each employee takes responsibility for the quality of his or her work. Ownership does not mean that employees are expected to give and give, receiving nothing in return for excellence. Excellent work performance means more pay and a better working environment, just like it does in any ownership situation.

Michael Davis

Working in the lab gave me a better understanding of soil properties/behavior and laboratory testing procedures. I enjoyed getting hands-on experience on some of the topics that were covered in class. My experience in the lab helped me excel in my geotechnical course, and vice versa.

Michael Davis
University of South Alabama
Major: Civil Engineering

Thompson’s internship program gave me a link between the theoretical world of the classroom and the practical world in which I will be working. Thompson professionals were able to show me how what I had learned could be applied to the physical world. A great benefit, especially during senior design.
