Chris Dugger

Vice President

Chris Dugger is Vice President leading Thompson Engineering’s Field Services Unit, which includes drilling, surveying, construction materials testing, and laboratories. Dugger is responsible for advancing Thompson Engineering’s strategic initiatives, resource and budget planning, business development, and large proposal approach. Under his leadership, Thompson Engineering’s field services team has expanded its service offerings, particularly regarding advanced survey technology.

 

Dugger’s career at Thompson Engineering began when he joined the company as a summer intern in the geotechnical engineering department in 2010. His ability to manage people, projects, and business concepts led to roles from engineering associate to supervisor of the company’s geotechnical drilling and laboratory teams.

 

Chris is a member of several industry groups including the Electric Cities of Alabama (ECA) and the National Drilling Association (NDA). He volunteers for Adoption Rocks, a non-profit organization providing adoption information and resources in the Mobile, AL area. He also supports the Thompson Fishing Rodeo, a fundraiser for the Thompson Foundation. He is a graduate of the University of South Alabama’s College of Engineering.
