Thompson Engineering Opens Biloxi, Miss. Office

Thompson Engineering is expanding its Gulf Coast presence with the opening of a new office in Biloxi, Miss. The branch office is Thompson Engineering’s 15th, and joins established branch offices in Moss Point and Jackson, Miss.

“Over the course of our 69-year-history, we’ve served a range of clients in the Biloxi area. With the opening of this new office, we hope to expand our client list, as well as improve our ability to respond quickly to local needs,” said John Baker, Thompson Engineering CEO.

Thompson Engineering has partnered with a variety of commercial, industrial, and state and local clients along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. A project to dry dock the IP Casino following Hurricane Katrina was recognized by Engineering News Record (ENR) as one of the nation’s “Best of the Best” engineering projects in 2015. Thompson Engineering has performed design and geotechnical work for the Beau Rivage Casino and was structural engineer of record for the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum.
