Thompson Engineering has developed and delivered a variety of storm water pollution prevention courses and other environmental training sessions for clients in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi. We provide education on the latest regulations and requirements for each state to ensure that individuals are receiving accurate training. Our goal in teaching these courses is to provide individuals with the necessary training and knowledge to help protect the environment and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Alabama
Thompson Engineering is approved by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) as a Certified Training Provider for the Qualified Credentialed Inspector (QCI) Training Program. This program provides students with instruction in storm water pollution prevention regulations, strategies, and techniques for construction sites. Mississippi
Since 2004, numerous organizations in Mississippi have worked with Thompson Engineering to develop and deliver client-specific stormwater and environmental training courses. These organizations include the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT), the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), the Mississippi Army National Guard (MANG), the Mississippi Homebuilders Association, and various private companies and industrial clients. Florida
Thompson Engineering training team members are certified as instructors for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Storm Water, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Inspector Training and Certification Program. We provide private, two-day FDEP training sessions to large groups upon request and offer CEUs to our students.
Louisiana
Thompson Engineering has provided a military-specific construction storm water pollution prevention training course for the Louisiana Army National Guard (LANG).
